How much does it cost?

Price varies greatly for each project, and a lot of factors affect the price. How many lights we are placing, how difficult or how much risk a job has, even when you book can affect the price, as booking during the slow season will result in a discounted price.

Are you compliant with Breckenridge's Dark Sky Ordinaces?

Yes. We work hard to stay up to date on all the latest Dark Sky ordinances within the town and ensure that all of our displays in Breckenridge comply.

Are customers buy the lights and decorations?

No. When you hire Summit Lights and Decorations, you are paying one fee for full service lights and decoration installation. We will come to your home, install our lights and decorations, maintain them throughout the season, and will take them down and store them at our facility at the end of the season. Before the next season we diligently go through each and every bulb to ensure everything is in good working order and looking great before installing again the next year.

What installation techniques do you use?

We use a variety of instillation techniques depending on the situation. After much trial and error though, we have found our favorite techniques to install roofline lighting is with a professional grade cable tacker. Similar to a staple gun, but it shoots insulated staples, which protect the wiring. This withstands our harsh, snowy Summit County winters perfectly, and comes down easily and seamlessly in the spring.

I have a tall roof, how are you going to get up there?

You are calling the professionals for a reason! We use a variety of techniques to get up to height, but safety is always our top priority! We have a mix of ladders, but for our extra tall homes we can even come by with a cherry picker!
