Hi, I'm Darby!

Darby is the driving force behind Summit Lights and Decorations. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Florida, but has been lucky enough to call Summit County home for almost ten years now. She has always loved the holidays and creating a warm, bright and cozy holiday atmosphere. In 2020 she started Wreaths for Good, which hand makes fresh holiday wreaths, and donates all the proceeds to local non-profits, like Building Hope. Summit Lights and Decorations is the evolution of that idea into a full service lights and decorations company. With quality, safety, and a desire to build community at our core, our focus has stayed the same. Plus we still continue our Wreaths for Good tradition, with all the proceeds from our handmade wreaths still going to non-profits.

Hi, I'm Erik!

Erik is Darby's long time partner in all things, and he is the one ensuring she is safe when working at heights. A long time rock climber, he has helped her set up systems to make sure fall protection is securely in place before ever leaving the ground. In the summer months you can catch him managing safety protocols at Breckenridge Resort's rock climbing wall and high ropes course.
